Artist Bio

A Visual Journey

After careers as an actor and interior designer and extensive travel Karina, driven by a need to create and reflect, selected France to fulfill the ambition to be a portrait and interiors artist. She exhibits in Paris on the Isle de Saint Louis, and extensively in South West France and the UK. Her countryside studio overlooking the medieval chateau of Anglars is open to  visitors.  Within her work Karina is drawn to and fascinated by  history and her sense of location. She primarily uses the techniques oil, watercolour and graphite in her two dimensional work and multimedia in her evocative installation work.

Karina's passion and zest for art is carried forward to nonviolent peace building and to being an active campaigner for disarmament.
